Aled Jones

Aled Jones was still a schoolboy in Bangor when Walking in the Air made him famous around the world. In the four decades since, he has sold more than seven million albums, taken West End lead roles in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and White Christmas, and become one of the country's most familiar broadcasters as the face of Songs of Praise and the sound of weekday mornings on Classic FM.

He has performed at the Royal Albert Hall and the Sydney Opera House, given a private recital for King Charles III, and gamely survived both Strictly Come Dancing and The Masked Singer. His album Full Circle, which includes a track he wrote himself, went to Number One.

On stage, Aled combines live performance with the stories behind a life spent in music and broadcasting, told with the warmth and humour audiences know him for.
