Often described as “television’s most fearless man”, Benedict Allen is one the last of the great British explorers. Over the past 25 years his daring exploits have taken him to some of the remotest parts of the world, including the Amazon, Siberia, New Guinea, Haiti, Mongolia, the Gobi Desert and the Namib Desert. He is probably best known as the presenter of TV shows like Channel 5’s Unbreakable. His arduous and treacherous exploits that have seen him attacked by gold-miners and being forced to eat his own dog.
