Iconic PR

Clive Conway Productions is the force behind the highly successful 'An Audience with...' theatre series which brings household names in showbusiness, current affairs, sport and politics to hundreds of venues around the country every year.

The format of the show is simple. During the first part of the evening the speakers look back over their life and times - sometimes solo, sometimes in conversation with an interviewer - and later they take questions from the audience; often a book signing follows. This intimate and interactive aspect of the show provides a memorable experience for any audience.

Audiences are always interested in meeting their favourite personalities and hearing what they have to say: our attendees are frequently thrilled with our shows and many of our audiences return to them time and time again.

An Audience with Juliet Stevenson in conversation with Matthew Stadlen

One of our best loved actresses, Juliet Stevenson lets us into the secrets of her craft and tells the story of her glittering career. Famous for her BAFTA nominated role in Truly, Madly, Deeply and her appearances in Bend It Like Beckham, Emma and Mona Lisa Smile, she won an Olivier award for Death and the Maiden and is celebrated as much for her time on stage as for her success on screen.

A veteran of the Royal Shakespeare Company and the National Theatre, she was born in Kelvedon, Essex, to Virginia Marshall, a teacher, and Michael Guy Stevenson, an army officer. After a peripatetic childhood spent in England and beyond, Juliet studied at RADA. Along with her great, late friend, Alan Rickman, Fiona Shaw, Kenneth Branagh and Imelda Staunton, among others, she was part of the 'new wave' of actors to emerge from the Academy. She has received multiple BAFTA and Olivier nominations and continues to bestride the stage and screen. In recent years, Happy Days and The Doctor, which moves to America this summer, have secured Juliet’s status as one of Britain’s finest actresses.

A Diva and a Piano with Lesley Garrett

Celebrating over thirty years of performance in the worlds of opera, musicals, television, radio and concerts Lesley Garrett has enjoyed one of the most successful and idiosyncratic careers of any modern-day, classically trained soprano, winning both critical acclaim and the affection of many fans and music lovers through the breadth and diversity of her work.

As well as performing on the opera and concert stage both in the UK and internationally, Lesley has recently starred in Carousel and The Sound of Music appeared on television shows including Strictly Come Dancing and Loose Women. She has also performed with artists as diverse as Michael Ball, Renee Fleming, Andrea Bocelli, Bryn Terfel and Lily Savage.

Lesley is joined by Anna Tilbrook, who is one of Britain’s most exciting pianists, with a considerable reputation in song recitals and chamber music. She made her debut at the Wigmore Hall in 1999 and has since become a regular performer at Europe’s major concert halls and festivals, as well as coaching regularly for the Royal Opera, Covent Garden.
