Look on the bright side. The prestigious annual Chelsea Flower Show may have been postponed to September but it opens up a whole new range of colourful  possibilities for both exhibits and visitors.
The change of season will present the possibility both different plants and different designs. It is the first time in its 108 year history that such a move has been necessary but the Royal Horticultural Society feels that the Coronavirus pandemic gives them no option but to postpone until Autumn
So now the 2021 Show at the Royal Hospital Chelsea will take place from 21st to 26th September rather than occupying its traditional May slot.
However all is not lost for fans of summer blooms. In addition to the new autumn show, the RHS has announced that it will hold a Virtual Chelsea Flower Show online, during the May show week. Meanwhile anyone who has already bought tickets for the original May show will be contacted by the RHS.
Among those who will be particularly interested is Clive Conway speaker and award winning British garden designer Adam Frost. Adam is well known for his many successes at Chelsea where he has won seven gold medals since 2007. He has also appeared regularly on the BBC’s coverage of RHS Flower Shows.
Adam’s love for the great outdoors started from a young age when he helped on his grandparent’s allotment. His fascination with watching plants and vegetables grow and the wildlife they attract has stayed with him and he remains passionate about passing this on to future generations.
Watch out for forthcoming appearances by Adam Frost in association with Clive Conway Productions.
