Iconic PR
Courage to Heal

The purpose of Courage to Heal is to connect young people from all over the world and make them able to tell, explore, and discuss their inner concerns about the challenges that they face today.

Following the huge success of our inaugural Courage to Heal event last week, we are thrilled to announce the next two events in our series.

Virtual Round Table Event
A conversation about civic courage & how to support youth workers on the ground
Friday 30 July 5pm GMT

An open round table discussion addressing some of the challenges faced by youth leaders and youth work professionals in generating bilateral support for their initiatives wherever they work around the globe. This key topic was raised by participants at our first meeting and we are delighted to follow up with practical support in our community.

No need to register in advance for this virtual event -  the zoom link will be posted on our website on the day! Check updates on www.couragetoheal.world

Guest Speaker Event
The impact on young people & their power to effect change & heal the planet
Friday 27 August 5pm GMT

Courage to Heal will welcome the inspiring Princess Esmeralda of Belgium to discuss her vital work around Climate Change, Human Rights and Equality and explore both the impact on young people and their phenomenal power to effect change and heal the planet.

First Conversation with Gina Miller

The first Courage to Heal virtual event was an uplifting success.  We were joined by people from all across the globe to hear experiences and insights from Gina Miller, and to take part in a thought-provoking discussion, with contributions from many participants.

Gina highlighted key issues affecting young people and society in every corner of the world.  Her observations resonated deeply with our audience; National Borders and nationalist perspectives are truly unhelpful in addressing the human problems we all face. We all have a moral responsibility to hold governments to account and seek fairness & equality, and it will take civic courage to transcend our borders & our fears.  We need to harness fear and have the courage to tackle inequality.  Education is the most powerful tool we can invest in to combat an alarming gap in the relationship with the truth. Brave individuals and honest discourse are essential as the political culture is failing us.

We all need to acknowledge our responsibility to make a difference wherever we can.

We are strong as individuals and as a community.  Small, personal acts of kindness can and will make a difference.

Young people are going to be a powerful agent for change...
We addressed the challenges of isolation in our own personal efforts to help our communities, some of our audience seek support for youth work and guidance for initiatives in their regions. With Courage to Heal we look forward to connecting people and sharing experience and advice.
