Curtain Up, Clive Conway Productions exciting new series of live-streamed online shows, continues at the weekend with Rev. Richard Coles pondering his extraordinary journey from 1980s pop star to Church of England priest, radio broadcaster and TV personality
It follows last week’s online production which saw actor, writer, wit and raconteur extraordinaire, Gyles Brandreth, presenting his 7 Secrets of Happiness.
This coming Friday (October 30th) and Saturday (October 31st)  it’ll be the turn of Richard Coles to present  an online production called Popstar to Priest
His story is as real as it is unlikely. During the talk he will explain the curious circumstances that took him from the euphoria and mayhem of being Top of the Pops with Jimmy Sommerville as a member of The Communards to the ordained Church of England priest he is today.
Of course the showman is still there which is why most people know Richard as both the host of BBC Radio 4’s Saturday Live and a frequent guest and presenter on countless other radio and TV shows that have included Strictly Come Dancing and Celebrity Masterchef
