Gyles Brandreth live-streaming on Friday and Saturday

Have you checked out our new series of online shows yet. It’s called Curtains Up and launches later this week with a wonderful hour-long entertainment from the inimitable Gyles Brandreth.
His show, The 7 Secrets of Happiness, will be live-streamed on 23rd and 24th October. Tickets are on sale now.
It finds the  actor, writer. wit and raconteur in full flow, delivering gems of wisdom from his best-selling book of the same title about his pursuit of the secrets of happiness.
Gyles, who is also a former MP and government whip, jokes that he  started out in the House of Commons and ended up in the psychiatrists chair. A fairly well-worn route one might imagine.
We learn precisely what he discovered about who gets to be happy and how and there are some useful tips picked up along the way, from, among others, the Queen, the prime minister and Mick Jagger.
The result is an amazing hour that will make you laugh and could change your life. It might even extend your life too. Research shows that happy people live seven to ten years longer than the miseries among us.
