Lucy Worsley’s Tour Launch: ‘A Very British Murder’ and ‘If Walls Could Talk: An Intimate History of Your Home’

Lucy Worsley’s theatre tour launched last week at The Anvil in Basingstoke, where she presented an illustrated tour through the dark story of our fascination with murder. ‘A Very British Murder’ continues on 1st August at The Tachhi Morris Acts Centre, with more dates and theatre appearances through to the end of October; the locations and dates for all of Lucy’s theatre appearances can be found below. 

In ‘A Very British Murder’, Lucy shares secrets and explores the history of this phenomenon in forensic detail, examining not only the crimes themselves but also how murder became a form of middle-class entertainment through novels, plays, artifacts and the press. From a Regency serial killer to Agatha Christie, this is the story of how crime was turned into art.
