The Desmond & Leah Tutu Legacy Foundation is with Gates Foundation

It has been announced that Melinda French Gates will be the keynote speaker for the 13th Desmond Tutu International Peace Lecture happening on 17th November.

This year, the event will have a special focus on celebrating and recognising the incredible contributions of women's leadership globally and within our communities, through the theme “Unlocking Women’s Power for Peace and Prosperity”. The event also aims to highlight the outstanding contributions of women's leadership, both historically and in the present. Melinda French Gates is a passionate advocate for women and girls and through her work with the Gates Foundation, she has witnessed first-hand how when women and girls have power, they uplift their families, communities, and societies.
