Clive Conway Productions is of course the force behind the highly successful 'An Audience with...' theatre series. The format is simple. During the first part of the evening the speaker looks back over their life and times- sometimes solo, sometimes in conversation with an interviewer - and later takes questions from the audience; often a book signing follows.

Clive Conway is a professional classical flautist and recording artist who studied at the Royal Academy of Music alongside, among others, Sir Simon Rattle and Annie Lennox. In the 1990s he started producing touring theatrical shows, anthology performances featuring well known names. The move  to An Audience With…was a no brainer and an instant success. The very first one in 2001 featured Tony Benn.

In addition to our An Audience With… evenings the trademark anthology shows are still a big hit with our followers and feature well known actors like Robert Powell, Liza Goddard and Sue Jameson hosting evenings about everything from Charles Dickens and Jane Austen to the history of cinema and a journey through the world of some of the strangest English eccentrics.

Beyond theatre Clive Conway is a tireless advocate of world peace and a champion of the philosophy of South African peace and social justice campaigner Archbishop Desmond Tutu. Clive is also chairman of the Tutu Foundation UK.
